Beer City San Jose is happening June 1 - also looking for volunteers

Beer City San Jose is happening June 1 and they are looking for volunteers to help with check-ins, aid stations, and course monitors/marshals.  This is also a good opportunity for students to get volunteer hours while also helping out in our community! !  Here is the event website: https://beercityfest.com/san-jose/

Beer City is a day of fun, running, and beer-festing. They kick off with a half marathon, 10k, 5k and then tick over to a beer festival that runs from 10am to 2pm. All the fun takes part at Almaden Lake Park (6099 Winfield Blvd, San Jose).  Come prepared to have a good time and cheer people on. If you're working at an aid station, you'll be helping runners with water and food. If you're helping at the start/finish you'll be doing things ranging from pouring beer to handing out medals and other things. Wherever you are, bring comfortable clothes, a hat, and a camp chair if you have one.
