PARC MONTHLY TRAIL RUN - SATURDAY MAY 9 - WUNDERLICH & BUCKS

In May, we make our yearly pilgrimage to Wunderlich Park in Woodside. Along with several groves of majestically beautiful Redwoods, all of Wunderlich's comprehensive & well-maintained trail system is well shaded. Wunderlich is only 15 minutes driving from Palo Alto.

Instead of our usual runner's pot luck, after the run we'll meet for brunch at Buck's in Woodside at 11:00. Runners from Saturday morning's Sawyer Camp group are also encouraged to join us there. This month, the intermediate run starts a half-hour after the long run so that we all have a chance to arrive at Buck's within a half-hour or so of each other.

If you've never been to Buck's, its a slice of Silicon Valley history and well worth taking in. Buck's is a short drive from the trail head.

When Saturday, May 9, 2015. Long run (10.8M) meets at 8:20am for a pre-run briefing and an 8:30am start. Intermediate run (7.5M) meets at 8:50am for a pre-run briefing and a 9:00am start.

Driving together is encouraged, but as Wunderlich is close by, we are not setting up an official car pool for this run. Pls be super careful and considerate of the many cyclists who will be enjoying the roads of Woodside.

Where Wunderlich County Park, 4040 Woodside Rd, Woodside. There is no parking fee. More park info can be found hereBuck's is located at 3062 Woodside Road, Woodside.

What A long 10.8 mile run and an intermediate 7.5 mile run. This is a remote trail run and each runner must carry at least one water bottle. To avoid having to search for lost runners, we will stay together in groups of approximately the same running abilities and distance interests.
