What A long run (about 12.9 miles, 900 feet of climbing) and an intermediate run (about 6.6 miles, 800 feet of climbing).
This is a remote trail run and each runner must carry at least one water bottle.
To avoid having to search for lost runners we ask every runner to find other runners of approximately the same running ability to form a group. The runners in each group must be able to account for their partners to make sure nobody is lost.
As is our tradition, there will be a potluck after the run, so please bring food or drink to share. Simple healthy snacks and drinks are encouraged, but the indulgent treat will also be appreciated.
Why We will see old mine shafts and should have expansive vistas of the Guadaloupe Reservoir and the Almaden Valley. This is a good time of year to enjoy this park which is hot, dry, and brown during the summer.
