The March run is in the Santa Cruz Mountains above Saratoga and will feature spectacular view (weather permitting).
When Sunday March 4, 2007. Meet at 8:15am for an 8:30am start. Those who want to carpool meet at 7:40am on the CostCo parking lot on Rengstorff Avenue in Moutain View near 101. On the parking lot we meet close to the McDonalds.
Where Castle Rock State Park, 15000 Skyline Blvd, Los Gatos, CA 95030. There is limited free parking on the side of Skyline Blvd next to the park entrance. Inside there is a $6 per vehicle parking for fee.

How to get there Take 101 or 280 South to 85 South. Follow 85 south and exit at Sunnyvale-Saratoga Road. Follow Sunnyvale-Saratoga Road south to Saratoga, turn right on Highway 9 toward Saratoga Gap. At Saratoga Gap turn left on Skyline Blvd. (Hwy 35) and follow it for 2.5 miles to the park entrance.

What A long run (9.2 miles, a long long run (12.2 miles) and an intermediate run (about 6.5 miles). This is a remote trail run and each runner must carry at least one water bottle. As usual, there will be a potluck after the run, so please bring food or drink to share.
Why See the waterfall at Castle Rock. Watch the rock climbers. Run along a cliff with beautiful views of the Santa Cruz Mountains.
