When Sunday, April 2, 2006. Meet at 8:15am for an 8:30am start. Carpool will leave at 7:45am from the Costco parking lot on
Rengstorff Avenue in Mountain View near 101, near the McDonalds.
NOTE: Based on participation and feedback from club members during our recent Saturday runs,
we have decided to alternate between Saturdays and Sundays for future monthly trail runs.
Where Sanborn County Park, 16055 Sanborn Road, Saratoga, CA 95070.
There is a $5 parking fee per vehicle. Last time we ran here, credit cards were accepted.

Take 101 or 280 to 85 south. Follow 85 south and exit at
Sunnyvale-Saratoga Road. Follow Sunnyvale-Saratoga Road
south to Saratoga, turn right on Highway 9 toward Saratoga
Gap. After approximately 2 miles turn left onto Sanborn
Road (just before a bridge). Follow road to park entrance.
PARC meets in the small parking lot next to the park entrance.
Google estimates the driving time from Lucy Stern to be 32
minutes.
What A long (about 11.4 miles, 1400 feet elevation gain) and a short
run (about 6.1 miles). This is a remote trail run and each runner must carry at
least one water bottle. To avoid having to search for lost runners
we ask every runner to find other runners of approximately the same
running ability to form a group. The runners in each group must be
able to account for their partners to make sure nobody is lost. As
usual, there will be a potluck after the run, so please bring food
or drink to share.
Why Trails in a relatively dense forests. Opportunity to visit
Indian and Summit Rock on the long run.
