  • At the top is a stop sign and a 5-way intersection. The cross street is Skyline.
  • Turn right, go about 0.5 miles, and enter the park at the Skyline Gate entrance on your left.
What   A long (about 9.94 miles) and a short run (about 6.38 miles). This is a remote trail run and each runner must carry at least one water bottle. To avoid having to search for lost runners we ask every runner to find other runners of approximately the same running ability to form a group. The runners in each group must be able to account for their partners to make sure nobody is lost. As usual, there will be a potluck after the run, so please bring food or drink to share.
Why   An opportunity to see Redwood trees in the East Bay. The long run will feature the adventurous French Trail with lot's of roller-coaster like ups-and-downs. Steve Reagan has organized to run together with BARF, an East Bay running group. The potluck may again be at John Medinger's house, which is a very good vista point.
