Saturday Morning Run
On Saturday mornings, a run starts a little after 8:00 am at Sawyer Camp. Some PARC members start as early as 7:00am and complete up to 20 miles. These long weekend runs focus on marathon training. Club members can obtain seasonal updates on these runs by subscribing to the PARunClub Yahoo Discussion Group.
Come Out and Join Us
Are you planning on running the Chicago, Long Beach, Silicon Valley, Boston, Cal International, Houston, Austin, or the Hawaii Marathon? Make a resolution and we will help you stick to it. We are out there rain or shine. Maybe you are training for a 10K, the Relays, a triathalon or a half marathon? Come on out and do your long runs with us.
Get working on the "New" you. All paces and distances are always welcome. We usually run 12-20 miles but many show up and do less. The trail is paved and has mile markers every half mile. There is water, phones, deer, coyotes, bunnies, port-a- potties, incredible sights, and of course great individuals that love running. There will be several people at the gate at 8:00 AM.
Heckling and friendships are expected.
