Monthly Trail Run this Sunday May 4th --- Four Park Run

Sunday's Monthly Trail Run is a unique four-park trail run (yes we run thru four Open Space Preserves!).  7-mile or 12-mile options. An especially scenic run with 360-degree views from the ocean to the bay and multiple transitions between ridge lines and woods. We gather at 8:20 for a pre-run briefing and hit the trail at 8:30 (as usual). Post run Runners Potluck in about the most scenic location you can imagine. All details and maps here.
This run will be led by David Flexo who recently stepped up to co-lead our Monthly Trail Runs.

Long time PARC member and ultra-running phenom Chuck Wilson ran part of the route just yesterday and reports "The hillside above Horseshoe Lake in Skyline Ridge OSP is flush with California Poppies and Lupine right now -- beautiful!". Chuck's photo is worth a thousand words indeed:Photo: The hillside above Horseshoe Lake in Skyline Ridge OSP is flush with California Poppies and Lupine right now -- beautiful! I stopped to take this photo during my run yesterday:-)

Thanks for organizing the run. It was fun to run the trail and meet some of you.
