At the Home Run 2003
This year, more than 30 PARC members participated at the Stanford Home Run. Club member entry fees raised over $600 for Home Run beneficiaries.
PARC sent 3 teams to the Home Run, and each finished in the top 3 in its division. Also, several PARC members ran on teams for another club, and two of our members, Dave Ahn and Michael King, participated as event organizers.

Home Run Beneficiaries
The event is organized by the Stanford chapter of Habitat for Humanity. The proceeds of this year's race will benefit the Peninsula Habitat for Humanity, the Silicon Valley Habitat for Humanity, and Global Partners for Development .
Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness through a philosophy of "partnership housing," in which families in need work side by side with volunteers to build adequate housing.
Global Partners for Development matches people and resources with community development projects to foster economic development, improve health, increase access to education and end hunger.
